Preserving The American Political Philosophy: The Maine Legislature and the Trans Pacific Trade Agreement

The Trans Pacific Trade Deal is in the news with much concern over provisions allowing companies to use secretive international tribunals to sue sovereign local governments when they pass pass public-interest policies . The same issue was raised in 2012 in a letter from the states signed by the Maine Legislature and yet in 2013 the Maine legislature passed a Resolution of Friendship between Maine and China which endorsed the Trans Pacific Trade Agreement. The Resolution was passed silently without coverage by the Maine media- with one exception from the fringes- this blog When the independent media is delivered as a singular voice and selectively reporting the news with a singular bias- that is the definition of propaganda- the antidote to propaganda is to have many voices of diverse opinions and perspectives. In this post I make the case the the entire Maine media coverage of Maine's economic development policies meets the definition of propaganda- consistently for decades presenting, in unison, a singular point of view from the perspective of those who benefit, told in unison by a chorus of supposedly independent news media and in unison also omitting significant facts. My blog represents a different voice and is based in years of researching the history and when I report on current legislation- I start by reading that legislation- that is how I know that important details are being omitted by the Maine main stream media like a well orchestrated symphony. Preserving The American Political Philosophy: Networking Essential For A Successful Crowdfunder And Developing Such A Network Is It's Purpose

This is my crowdfunder up date from yesterday before I got my first backer. I thank George Colby for his generous contribution, a person I know only from FaceBook where I post my blog posts. This post will go out to my Andersen Studio ( Now officially Andersen Design) pages. I know it is not ususal to mix business and politics but I would never have become involved in the research that I do had I not encountered the first evidence of what is going on behind the media presentations, at a business networking event where in I was trying to find funding for redoing Andersen Designs molds. The centralization of capitalization in the hands of a "public private relationship" which has access to the use of taxpayer money effects the ability of all businesses in Maine to attract capital. What ever size, if that business is not in the corporate welfare sector, that business has to compete with the corporate wellfare sector-on all levels- my space is up- Please consider backing project.
